Session Details
What to expect during your mobile massage appointment
Expect the therapist to be in your home approximately 30-45 minutes beyond your scheduled massage time. This includes:
- Setup (10-15 minutes) – Professional table, linens, music, aromatherapy
- Health intake and consultation (5-10 minutes)
- Your massage session (full scheduled time)
- Cleanup and post-session recommendations (5-10 minutes)
We arrive 10 minutes early to set up, so your massage begins exactly at your scheduled time.
The time you book is the time you receive hands-on massage. Our 60-minute massage is a full 60 minutes of bodywork—not 50 minutes like many spas.
Available session lengths:
- 60 minutes: Ideal for targeting specific areas or full-body relaxation
- 90 minutes: Extended time for deeper work and comprehensive full-body treatment
No—you undress to your comfort level. Many clients prefer to be fully or partially nude for the best therapeutic results, but you may also:
- Keep underwear on
- Wear a bathing suit
- Wear comfortable clothing (for certain techniques)
Our therapists are trained in professional draping techniques. You’ll be covered with linens at all times, with only the area being worked on exposed. Your comfort and modesty are always respected.
To maximize the benefits of your massage:
- Drink plenty of water to help flush out metabolic waste and toxins
- Rest and relax for the remainder of the day if possible
- Avoid strenuous activity or intense workouts for 24 hours
- Take a warm bath with Epsom salts to further relax muscles
- Listen to your body and allow yourself to enjoy the relaxation
Some temporary soreness is normal, especially after deep tissue work. This typically resolves within 24-48 hours.
Preparing for Your Session
How to prepare your home and yourself
To ensure the best possible experience:
- Shower beforehand if possible (not required, but appreciated)
- Clear a space approximately 7ft x 4ft for the massage table
- Secure pets in another room during the session
- Let household members know you need a quiet, peaceful environment
- Turn off or silence phones and electronics
- Adjust temperature to a comfortable level (we can guide you)
- Remove jewelry before your session
Don’t worry about providing sheets or towels—we bring all professional linens and equipment!
We bring everything needed for a complete spa experience:
- Professional, heated massage table
- Fresh, sanitized linens and blankets
- Premium massage oils and lotions
- Aromatherapy diffuser and essential oils
- Soothing music (optional)
- Bolsters and positioning supports
All you need to provide is the space and yourself!
We need approximately 7 feet by 4 feet of clear floor space for the massage table and for the therapist to move around comfortably. This works in:
- Master bedrooms
- Living rooms
- Guest rooms
- Home offices
- Covered outdoor spaces (weather permitting)
The space should be on a level surface (not stairs or uneven ground). We can work with your space—just let us know what you have available!
